As seen by the early 2025 shutdown of a cafe accused of hosting LGBT activities, the debate around the existence of the LGBT community appears to be ongoing. The purpose of this study is to make the dynamics that took place in the poet Chen Chen more visible. By referencing Jauss's work from the late 1970s, which is collected in Aesthetic Experience and Literary Hermeneutics (1982), it moves toward a greater hermeneutical focus in the aesthetic experience itself.
